‘The Long Walk Home’ Screens Saturday August 11th at the 14th HollyShorts Film Festival

Eight years ago, my first collaboration with Jarod Einsohn screened at the 2010 HollyShorts Film Festival in Los Angeles. Jarod starred in Joel David Moore’s dramatic short, Hours Before.

This weekend, Jarod returns to the TCL Chinese 6 Theatre in Hollywood with his directorial debut, The Long Walk Home.

Jarod only applied to a handful of festivals and it has enjoyed great success where it has screened.

We took home Best Short Film and Alex Sgambati won Best Actress at the 8th Annual Williamsburg Independent Film Festival last November. In January, Alex won Best Actress again and Ryan Rottman took home Best Actor at the Inaugural Mammoth Film Festival.

We have high hopes for this weekend. Our wonderful producer, Anthony Hemingway, will receive the Indie Maverick Award on Thursday night! He joins an elite list of filmmakers with the honor: Paul Haggis, David Lynch, Eli Roth, Joe Carnahan and Matthew Modine.

Also, Jarod’s Ed Sheeran music video is about to hit 5M views on YouTube!
