This blog entry is sadly outdated now, but I still feel that it is newsworthy enough to share a few links with our Act Naturally fans. Shortly after the Los Angeles Times covered our film and the online rental startup, Prescreen, the company closed their virtual doors.
Any time a great idea fails to turn a profit quickly enough to stay afloat is bad news, but we had much to gain from Prescreen’s success. People flocked to their website to catch our movie at the most affordable price point to date. We were the featured film for 24-hours on April 30, 2012 and people could rent the movie for just $4 dollars! After that initial promotion expired, people shelled out $8 to check out the uncensored cut of our film. Many of you rushed to do so and we thank you immensely for your support.

I’m pleased to share that our actress/co-producer, Sadie Alexandru, appeared on the Matthew Aaron Show on May 22nd. You may listen to the MP3 with this link and hear about her recent appearance on the Emmy award winning television show, Mad Men (sadly, I have yet to start season 5), Sadie has garnered other press as well, like this link. Episodes 10, 12, and 13 of the most recent season of Mad Men features Sadie so if you or I needed any further motivation to catch up, then this is it!
