Some good news to report out of the Big Apple: the star of the nonscripted docu-drama, ‘Heavy Metal Nanny,’ Christophe (I’m not going to reveal his last name here, because it wasn’t on the press release), was awarded “Best Nonscripted Character or Host.”
This pilot that I shot for director Randall Bobbitt played last week at the 7th Annual 2011 New York Television Festival. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, this marked the second colaboration with Randall that resulted in an Official Selection at NYTVF. The first pilot, “The Grass is Greener,” made an appearance in the 2007 incarnation of the festival.
