Terre Weisman’s feature romantic comedy, “The A Plate” will play at the 6th Annual Hoboken International Film Festival on June 4th, which is almost exactly a year after we began principal photography (6/2/10) in Nashua, New Hampshire. This event falls shortly after the cast and crew screening set for May 26th in downtown Boston, MA. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend either event, but look forward to screenings in the Los Angeles area.
Media has been hard to come by in the recent months, with the exception of a few short (uncolor-corrected clips) on Facebook. Hopefully there will be a theatrical trailer to share very soon. In the meantime, get your tickets online and enjoy the film. The screening starts at 4pm at Cedar Lane Cinemas (503 Cedar Lane Teaneck, NJ 07666) and costs $11.
The film shot for 20 days last summer on the RED One camera with Zeiss SuperSpeed lenses supplied by Rule Camera. We shot 4.5k (2.40:1) on build 21 with a crew mainly consisting of New Yorkers with the exception of my gaffer, Nogen Melamed.
