The Eighth Annual Reel Rasquache Art & Film Festival will feature the short film I shot and produced, “Lucia No Besa a Nadie” (dir. Emanuel Gironi), as part of its dramatic short film program (number 9).

For those of you in the Los Angeles area, head East on the 210 and join Emanuel, Paulie Rojas, and I at the Regency Academy 6 Cinemas (1003 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA  91106) at 4pm this Sunday. May 15th.

Lucia premiered at the Detroit-Windsor International Film Festival, played the Jasper Poppy Film Fest, Oaxaca Film Fest, won “Best Short Film – Latino-American” at the 2009 Downtown LA Film Festival, and took home the “Audience Choice Award” and “Best Actress Award – Paulie Rojas” at the 2010 Hollyshorts Fest.
