So it’s not like I spent much time blogging on my previous blogspot site, but I’m not one to throw away work, so here are the some of the posts. Call me sentimental:

UPDATES

New reel can be found here. It includes some footage from “Hours Before” and other recent work.

This week, I’ll be shooting for the award-winning Dave Vorhes, who will be taking a break from his Preditor ways and delegating the camera work for his latest music video to me. It will be my first metal video, which is quite exciting to the teenager in me who only listened to Metallica, TOOL, and Korn.

A-Plate

So we have reached the halfway mark of Terre Weisman’s “A-Plate”. The feature romantic comedy is shooting for 20 days in Nashua, NH.

It’s been quite a ride. I wish I had more time to post about the experience, but the 99 Restaurant & Pub connected to our Best Western Hotel is calling my name!

Tomorrow is the first of many days at the car dealership, which should be fun. There is lots of ND9 ready to go up on the tall windows and we will be tying-in, which is always an adventure.

We are shooting 4.5K (2.40:1) on Build 21 with Zeiss SuperSpeed lenses (including the 65mm, which I never end up having in LA). Initially I had hoped to shoot with S4s, but we couldn’t fit them into our budget…

I hope to have some production stills that are shareable very shortly…
